Accompanying plaque lists this was given to Layton B Jones, Seattle Stake President in 1960 by a member of the community. Given to the Seattle Temple by F. Arthur Kay, first Seattle temple president in 1980. Housed in a display case inside the temple.

Unique Features
Spine: dark and light contrasting colors. 7 sets of ribbing with gold inlay wearing off. curved section at lower right edge part of circular mark on cover.
Spine Lettering and Label: Black title ribbon present and gold block letters fading but visible. Large block format.
Cover: Noticeable circular mark on lower left portion, wrapping to spine. Scratches and wear marks on upper half and other various parts.
Binding: spine/cover hinge in tact. Single front endpaper
Title Page: Present and intact. no markings. Slight triangular cockling top right and left and bottom left corners.
Text: Full text, various markings in gutter and edges in pencil
